MANSON
Gerardo del Hierro, Pau López and Tomás Peña are the three creative minds behind the directing team that is MANSON. Hailing from Barcelona, Spain, MANSON are known for their ever-changing visual style and ability to work across diverse content formats and mixed media.
They get their mojo from the world of cartoons, where anything goes and there are no limits. But here's the cool part—they bring that same vibe to ads and stuff, mixing real-life action with awesome stories that jump off the screen in all sorts of styles, from big-budget movie magic to mind-bending animation and 3D artistry.
With a wide and impressive body of work for global brands such as Adidas, Nike, Google, Facebook, Pirelli, Instagram and Stella McCartney, MANSON, has produced several award-winning films and campaigns. Their collaborations don’t end with brands and agencies, they've also crated music videos for renowned global artists like Katy Perry, The Prodigy and Rosalia.
On a side note, they do not think of themselves as a collective. Peña explains, “The word collective has a sort of hippie connotation and while we love that aesthetic (and the psychedelics), ‘firm’ more accurately describes the way we work. Our work is controlled improvisation. We plan everything meticulously, so we have room to discover things on set.”
Their ability to tell stories and create visual worlds across so many mediums makes MANSON, a collective force whose expansive creativity makes the mind boggle.
