Julia Pitch
Julia embarked on her professional filmmaking journey in the realm of documentaries, where she not only honed her skills in directing, but also excelled in producing and mastering cinematography. Her years in this medium not only showcased her technical prowess but also allowed her to forge deep connections with her subjects. These close relationships laid the foundation for trust and intimacy, qualities highly valued by brands seeking authentic connections with their audience.
In her own words: “More and more, we’re seeing brand films that reflect the people and the world around us, both the good, and the spaces where we need to grow and evolve. My approach has always been to find different angles to every story, challenging prevailing narratives by drawing on the emotion and humanity of each person I portray.”
Julia's visual aesthetic is heavily influenced by her passion for painting and fine art, subjects she studied at the Rhode Island School of Design and the Maryland Institute College of Art. Her work intertwines beautifully composed imagery with the raw emotion of deeply personal character studies, often subtly challenging gender and cultural norms.
We take immense pride in representing Julia's talent on this side of the Atlantic.
