In her commercial work, Fariba brings this sensibility to building a genuine bridge between product and audience: directing with empathy and emotional depth rather than selling at people. Her films are known for their authenticity and a quiet intimacy with the people in front of her camera – a way of getting close, and of turning real human experience into images that stay with you. Alongside this, she writes and develops her own documentary and series projects, several of which have been awarded at development and pitching stages.
Fariba studied directing at the University of Television and Film Munich (HFF) and is a trained TV journalist. She lives between Switzerland and Germany and works in German, English and French.
